Louis,
It is with much heartfelt sadness that I learn of your passing. Since we wrote to each other just a couple of months ago, I am truly saddened by this news. I would like to remind those other '74 Cardinals of your kindness, generosity, warmth, and great outlook on life. Traits that you undoubtably carried with you throughout the course of your, much too short, life.
i remember all the drives we took to SCROC in your VW Bug and you never accepting a dime from me for gas, though you'd occasionally let me buy you something from the "Roach Coach" truck during our break time. We spoke so much about so many things on the drives back and forth to Torrance. We even, good naturedly, vied for the attentions of one Mary Ann Conwy from South High who was in our IBM/Keypunch class. Even after I dropped the class and started working instead, you made sure I knew when Mary Ann wore her Green and White cheerleaders uniform and how especially nice she looked that day. (Thanks buddy! ??) You'd even let me know that she'd said hi once in a while...
To your wife Michelle, your children, & grandkids, though we've never met, I'd like to express my condolences and say that while yours is certainly a time of great hurt and loss, I'm certain that a lifetime of memories about My Friend Louis will forever be a positive source of joy and comfort.
May God Bless You All.
